    Included in this service:

  • Agreement for the sale of a cat or kitten

This document sets out the terms and conditions of sale for a cat or kitten and requires signatures from both the seller and buyer. The seller confirms details of the cat’s health, vaccination history and eligibility for the UK Pet Passport scheme; the buyer promises to care for the cat and to obtain a similar promise from any future owner. This promise is enforceable by the RSPCA (or equivalent) should they choose to do so.

  • Agreement for the sale of a dog or puppy

This document sets out the terms and conditions of sale for a dog or puppy and requires signatures from both the seller and buyer. The seller confirms details of the dog’s health, vaccination history and eligibility for the UK Pet Passport scheme; the buyer promises to care for the dog and to obtain a similar promise from any future owner. This promise is enforceable by the RSPCA (or equivalent) should they choose to do so. Note that this document is not suitable where the dog or puppy is being sold for commercial purposes, e.g. breeding or racing.

  • Agreement for the sale of a horse or pony

Use this document to create an agreement to sell a horse or pony. To use this document, the horse or pony must have a passport, unless individually identified in the list kept by the New Forest Verderers or the Dartmoor Commoners Council. In the agreement, the buyer promises to look after the horse and obtain a similar promise from any subsequent owner - this is enforceable by the RSPCA, the SSPCA and the USPCA.
